I had ongoing issues with my AC, which culminated in a mold infestation during the very humid month of September 2024. Building Maintenance kept on assuring me that everything was ok, which clearly wasn’t so I began looking for a private contractor who could help with my issue. Thankfully I came across Breezy Tech HVAC. After a quick call my number was forwarded to one of the technicians. I didn’t have to wait long for Danish to contact me and both him and his colleague Jabber would come by the next day for an inspection. They quickly identified the root cause: worn out isolator motors on 2 out of 3 AC units and the 3rd one about to go. After a brief discussion they suggested getting the latest model of Honeywell’s Electrical Actuator Floating Control. While these units are pricier than the competition they come with better performance and a longer lifespan, so I agreed. They then left to buy the actuators so that I wouldn’t have to wait another day for the replacement. Kudos to them! Danish then explained to me that from what they’ve seen elsewhere, the Thermostats which were installed by the developer weren’t the best and the reason why the motors wore out so quickly. I asked him if he could replace them with the latest Google Nest Thermostat, which he confirmed. A quick note to anyone reading this and interested in the Google Nest Thermostat: it is made exclusively for the U.S. market and thus an AC in the middle east must be retrofitted for it to work. This comes with an initial higher cost for parts and labor. However, after getting it installed it really is night and day. My stuffy apartment turned into one, I actually enjoy living in. On top of that, due to the smart features built into the Thermostat, I already see consumption going down while maintaining a comfortable average temperature during night and day. Finally Danish and Jabbar also cleaned the AC Coils and replaced the stainer. Would I recommend Breezy Tech HVAC? Absolutely, if you’re looking for a competent team to help you with your AC issues and which can advise you how to improve your AC. After completing all the above work, I’m super happy that my AC is now working better compared to when it was initially installed by the developer during construction.
